Spicy King Prawns and Langoustines

This easy recipe uses Wright Brothers' fresh seafood, combining king prawns and langoustines with spicy Nduja butter. Preheat the Diavlo portable gas oven, cook the seasoned prawns, add langoustines, steam briefly, and enjoy a flavourful gourmet dish anywhere.

Ingredients

Raw king prawns

Langoustines

Nduja (spicy spreadable pork sausage)

Butter (1 large spoon)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1.  Preheat the Oven: Light your oven and let it reach 400-450°C. This will take about 15 minutes. Keep the gas on full.
  2. Prepare the Nduja Butter: Mix Nduja with a teaspoon of butter until the spice blends well.
  3. Season the Prawns: Mix the Nduja butter with the king prawns, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Heat the Pan: Preheat a pan in the oven for 3 minutes to reach the temperature of the stone (>400°C). Turn down the gas to minimum, to allow a slow cook.
  5. Cook the Prawns: Pour the seasoned king prawns into the sizzling hot pan and use a spoon to turn them.
  6. Add Langoustines: Place the langoustines on top of the prawns.
  7. Place some foil over the dish after 2/3 mins to all the langoustines to steam and absorb the flavours.
  8. Cook for 8 minutes.
