At Wright Brothers we are renowned for our indulgent shellfish platters at our London restaurants - but now we have all you need to recreate your very own seafood feast At Home. All you need is a large serving dish or platter to arrange.
Our Fruits de Mer box comes filled with a selection of our restaurant-quality shellfish, guaranteed to impress any guests you're entertaining this season.
All the shellfish is delivered cooked and ready-to-eat, except for the mussels, so please do allow time to cook and chill these before your celebration. The Oysters are live and need to be shucked. Then simply arrange all the shellfish on ice, and serve with your favourite condiments like aioli for dipping and a classic mignonette for your oysters.
Our festive platter will make a delicious sharing starter for 4 to 5, or a feast for 2 to 3. The perfect pick-me-up experience at home, or gift for your favourite seafoodie!
Each box contains:
- Cooked Lobster, Regular (400-500g live weight.. minimum cooked weight 350g +)*
- Fresh Oysters (12pcs)
- Fresh Live Mussels (1kg)
- Crab Claws, Frozen (200g)
- Cooked Crevettes, Frozen (900g)
- WB Oyster Knife
Please store all your shellfish in the fridge before plating up and follow best before dates. Allow time to defrost the cooked crevettes in the fridge before serving.
Mussels instructions upon delivery: After opening the packet, occasionally, some mussels may appear open and assumed dead. However, this is not the case and is quite common with MAP pack live shellfish. Simply just fully submerge the mussels in cold clean tap water for 5-10 minutes after opening and they will soon start to close. Please then drain and discard any broken mussels or mussels that remain open.
*Tomalley is a soft, green substance sometimes found in the body cavity of the lobster. It functions as the liver and pancreas and is quite normal, it does not signify there is anything wrong with the lobster.
NB: There are many factors that may impact the availability of our seafood, including bad weather and issues with transport. While we will make every effort to deliver our exact specification, we may be forced to make replacements with a similar or better quality item. Rest assured we will always inform you if we have to make any changes.
