At Wright Brothers, we specialise in fresh oysters and these No. 3 size Jersey Rock Oysters are one of our favourites.
Oysters take their flavour from the environment they’re grown in. Jersey has the third largest tidal range in the world, which means that Jersey grown oysters benefit directly from the daily natural filtering effect of Jersey’s unique tides and crystal clear nutrient rich waters. Growing in this kind of environment gives Jersey Rock Oysters their unique delicate, fresh and salty flavour.
Not only are fresh oysters delicious, they are rich in protein and low in fat with exceptionally high levels of trace elements such as iodine, iron, selenium copper and zinc. Coupled with the unspoilt growing conditions available in the lough, this is as natural and pure as food can be.

Live Oysters should be stored in the fridge (not too cold) and enjoyed as soon as possible after delivery. They can last a long time in the right conditions. The Shells must be tightly closed when you shuck them, which signifies the Oyster is alive and good to eat.
Occasionally, due to farming shortages, product may occasionally be substituted with a similar alternative - we will always notify you of this.
