Wright Brothers Wholesale now supplies over 300 of the city’s finest restaurants with a range of high quality, sustainable oysters, fish and seafood.
We’ve been doing this since 2002. We’ve cut our teeth. We’re the only UK oyster wholesaler selling up to 15 types of oyster at the rate of 3 million per year. We’re sourcing from all around the world, including the UK, France, Ireland, Holland, Canada and New Zealand. We find the best – that’s our standard.
If we find a supplier with something extra special to offer, we’ll secure an exclusive, mutually beneficial, agreement. We’ve done exactly that with our new partner in Portugal. They supply us with a range of beautiful wet fish and shellfish three times a week by air, including Carabineros shrimps (the most prized prawns out there).
Nearer to home, we source hand-caught diver scallops from the Isles of Mull and Skye, cockles and razor clams from The Isle of Barra, Cornish mussels from St Austell Bay and lobsters and crabs from many UK shores.
We deliver six days a week to approximately 300 of the best London restaurants and restaurateurs, including Umu, Caprice Holdings, Corbin and King, Gordon Ramsay, Milos, Chiltern Firehouse, Hawksmoor, Fortnum and Mason and, of course, the four Wright Brothers restaurants.
A highly knowledgeable team of eighteen start work at 5am and communicate the catch of the day to our customers. Our nine drivers then weave their way around London, delivering with a smile. All of this is happening, without fail, six days a week. They only have Sunday off.
