Not the easiest of fish to catch yet one of the tastiest to eat. John Dory is a firm delicate white flesh fish with an elegant texture. With already so much flavour to the fish, only light seasoning is recommended.
John Dory is a versatile fresh whole fish which can can be pan-fried, grilled, baked whole, steamed, poached or roasted to make an easy mid-week meal. We recommend keeping the skin on to protect the delicate flesh during cooking.

As a fresh caught product, due to many different factors such as bad weather conditions and seasonality, product may occasionally be substituted with a similar alternative - we will always notify you of this. The daily fish market closes very early, so when ordering for 'next day' delivery, if fresh fish is unavailable, we will use (previously) frozen fish.
