The fillet steak is renowned to be the best cut of beef due to its melt-in-the-mouth texture. This cut is taken from the other side of the ribs from the sirloin, from the muscle that does very little work and therefore treats you to an incredibly lean, tender cut of meat. It has a well-rounded depth of flavour with a melting sensation when eaten and is best enjoyed grilled on the BBQ for summer celebrations or pan-fried with a knob of butter.
