At Wright Brothers we are renowned for our indulgent shellfish platters at our London restaurants - but now we have all you need to recreate your very own seafood feast At Home. All you need is a large serving dish or platter to arrange.
Our Fruits de Mer box comes filled with a selection of our restaurant-quality shellfish, guaranteed to impress any guests you're entertaining. It's also a great option for a party at home.
All the shellfish is delivered cooked and ready-to-eat, except for the mussels and langoustines, so please do allow time to cook these before your celebration (see instructions below). Then simply arrange all the shellfish on ice, and serve with your favourite condiments like aioli for dipping and a classic mignonette for your oysters.
Our House Seafood platter will make a delicious sharing starter for 4 or feast for 2. The perfect seafood experience at home, or gift for your favourite seafoodie!
Each box contains:
- Scottish Langoustines, Frozen (600g)
- Carlingford Oysters (12pcs)
- UK sourced rope grown Mussels (uncooked, 1kg)
- Cooked Crevettes, Frozen (900g)
Please store shellfish in the fridge before plating up. Please follow instructions below regarding your mussels. Allow time to defrost the Cooked Crevettes in the fridge before serving. Please consume oysters according to use by date or within 2 days of delivery for optimum freshness.
Mussels instructions upon delivery: After opening the packet, occasionally, some mussels may appear open and assumed dead. However, this is not the case and is quite common with MAP pack live shellfish. Simply just fully submerge the mussels in cold clean tap water for 5-10 minutes after opening and they will soon start to close. Please then drain and discard any broken mussels or mussels that remain open.
Langoustines instructions: Let the langoustines defrost overnight in the fridge or if they are to be consumed immediately, remove them from the packaging and place them in a bowl of cold water under slow trickling water to defrost (about 10-15 minutes). Then place them in a pot filled with salted boiling water and leave them to cook for 3-4 minutes.
Occasionally, due to many different factors such as bad weather, seasonality or restricted supply, some items may be replaced with an alternative of equal value or refunded.
