We’re incredibly honoured to have been invited by renowned Champagne house Piper-Heidsieck to create our very own expression of their Essentiel Cuvée. Last year the Wright Brothers team, including Robin Hancock (WB Co-founder), Ivan Ruiz (Beverage Manager) and Anjelica Serra (Training & Operations Manager) travelled to Champagne to blind taste 18 different options of liqueur d’expedition under the expert guidance of Piper-Heidsieck Chef de Cave, Émilien Boutillat.
The result is an exceptional quality Extra Brut especially carefully selected to compliment our seafood. Naturally, it pairs perfectly with oysters and shellfish, but also has the complexity to be enjoyed with white fish and buttery or creamy sauces. The win is crisp and refreshing with a nose of acacia flowers, pear, toast and lemon zest. On the palate, it is fresh and mineral driven with flavours of pink grapefruit. We are so pleased with the final choice and hope you will be too.
