Dry January without the FOMO

Whether you’re ditching the booze for January or making a lifestyle change, we’ve got lots of tasty low alcohol and non-alcoholic options available. Dry definitely doesn’t need to mean boring, and some of these taste so much like the real deal the only thing you’ll feel like you’re losing out on is the hangover.

Real Kombucha dry dragon

Real Kombucha

The UK is still relatively new to kombucha, but it’s hugely popular in LA. Made from fermenting different teas, the process produces natural carbon dioxide bubbles in the drink which are pleasantly refreshing. It makes an excellent alternative to a glass of fizz or traditional sugar laden soft drinks. We’ve tried a few brands, but chose Real Kombucha as they are dry and zesty.

All our restaurants are serving the Dry Dragon which is made from Darjeeling and Royal Flush which is fermented from green tea.

Delicious dry January cocktails

Non-alcoholic cocktails

Our bar team have crafted three new non-alcoholic cocktails especially for dry January, including the Peach Æmericano (centre) which is made with Æcorn Bitter and Æcorn Aromatic mixed with peach and jasmine soda. We’re excited to have introduced Æcorn to our back bar, a range of non-alcoholic aperitifs from the team behind Seedlip. They are made from 100% English grown Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay grapes, pressed early and blended with herbs, roots and bitter botanicals. The blend of the two aperitifs in this cocktail makes quite a grown up serve perfect for those of you that don’t want anything too sweet.

Available at all restaurants, except Borough Market.

Scavi & Ray alcohol free sparkling wine

Scavi & Ray

We were bowled over when we found this refreshing Prosecco alternative that ACTUALLY tastes like the real deal. So much so, it’s become a staple of our non-alcoholic selection. We were also the first restaurant in the UK to serve this when we first added in to our menus two years ago. Made from the same Glera grape as the alcoholic version, it has a good balance of dryness and sweetness on the palate.

Available at all restaurants, except Borough Market.

Rocktails distilled botanical drinks

We added these nifty bottled cocktails in time for dry January last year, but they’ve proved popular all year-round. Crafted with the finest copper pot distilled botanicals, the result is a non-alcoholic drink with grown up flavours.

We offer both their Citrus spritz (grapefruit peel, lime, lavender and basil) and Orangewood (‍blood orange zest, smoked Cherrywood, orange peel, cascarilla and agave) at all our restaurants.

Low ABV beer and cider

Lucky Saint Low Alcohol Unfiltered Lager (0.5%)

Low ABV beers have really come on leaps and bounds and Lucky Saint is a big part of that revolution. Light and very drinkable it is produced by a brewery with 400 years’ experience. The unfiltered finish gives it a pleasant dry taste which makes it feel just like a real lager. We are serving it at all restaurants, except Borough Market.

Sassy Le Vertueux Poire Cidre (2.5%)

Gluten-free, 100% natural and made from handpicked pears that were organically grown in Château de Sassy’s orchards. Although it is slightly higher in ABV, this is one of the lowest calorie alcoholic drinks on the market. The crips pear flavour is balanced with the perfect level of acidity and just a touch of sweetness. Enjoy this pear cider at all our restaurants.
