Macallan - Whisky & Oyster Masterclass
6.30pm 19 June 2018
Join us on the 19th of June for a special oyster masterclass in partnership with the Macallan distillery. The perfect treat for Father’s Day, or the whisky lover in your life, each guest will enjoy 4 whiskies (Macallan 12yo Sherry, Double Cask & Triple Cask and Macallan Rare Cask) alongside 12 of oysters natural, dressed and cooked. Our oyster master will guide you through our range of oysters, teaching you how to identify their unique merroir (flavour profiles), while our co-host David Miles (whiskey brand ambassador at Erdington Beam-Suntory) will talk you through the history of the Macallan brand and the tasting notes of each whisky.
Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Dinner

Join us at Wright Brothers Spitalfields for a pairing dinner with the legendary Piper-Heidsieck, one of the oldest Champagne houses in France founded by Florens-Louis Heidsieck in 1785. A firm favourite of Marilyn Monroe, she was once quoted as saying “…I start each day with a glass of Piper-Heidsieck because it warms my body.” On the evening we will serve 5 different glasses of Champagne alongside a menu designed by head chef Michal Heins, including roasted breast of Squab pigeon, confit leg, peas, bacon, little gem & pigeon sauce and a main of roasted Peterhead cod, grilled summer courgettes, Romesco sauce, almond crumb & tempura fried samphire.
